Job Description 

Gotham Government Services LLC.  is seeking a dynamic, experienced, intermediate human performance professional as a Full Time/Part Time employee to assist us in supporting our federal clients in their pursuit to customize and standardize the training and assessment programs. 

Responsibilities / Job Description: 

This position will require technical knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform a wide range of project-related functions and analyses related to job task analysis (JTA), competency model development, test and item development, validation, and reporting. You will work with a team of industrial/organization psychologists/HPTs and instructional designers to support our U.S. Government client.  

Tasks may include conducting data management activities such as constructing, combining, and cleaning small and large data sets in Excel and Word; Developing JTA and Technical Competency reports using job task analyses to extract job elements, such as duties, tasks, knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs), technical competencies, and behavioral indicators, for measurable outcomes; Performing content analysis studies on performance data; Performing curriculum evaluations and analyses and aligning training curricula with job competency data.  

Required Skills: 

  • Basic knowledge of adult learning theory, curriculum development, technical competency and behavioral indicator alignment 
  • Proficient in conducting needs analysis, job analysis, task analysis 
  • Basic knowledge of assessment development and validation principles (JTA, Assessment Item Writing, Test Specification Plan Alignment) 
  • Ability to determine competencies and develop competency models 
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills to interpret information and use findings to develop proposals and recommendations to clients 
  • Ability to summarize, visualize, and present data  
  • Ability to quickly analyze multiple large datasets (~5,000 participants per dataset) 
  • Ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative data and appropriately convey results in a professional manner to technical and non-technical audiences 
  • Ability to create reports from multiple Microsoft Excel files and maintain consistency/accuracy across all reports 
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (i.e., formulas, V/XLOOKUP, data organization, merging data, pivot tables) to store and revise data, create reports, and perform other tasks  
  • Basic knowledge of research methods and statistical analyses  
  • Experience in statistical techniques and proficiency with SPSS, R, Excel, and other data management, analysis and visualization tools desired 
  • Ability to work on collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams 
  • High level of organization and excellent attention to detail  
  • Above average applied communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members at various levels 
  • Ability to effectively facilitate data collection workshops  
  • Time-management skills to complete projects under tight deadlines 
  • Strong problem-solving skills 
  • Strong written and oral communication skills 

Requirements: 

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in a human performance or related field of study (e.g. Industrial & Organizational Psychology); Master’s degree preferred   
  • Minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience in projects of national scope, including VA initiatives and in the Federal Government arena 
  • Must be able to obtain a public trust security clearance
