  • Analyze techniques for enhancing the performance of individuals on your team
  • Analyze what is influencing unsatisfactory performance
  • Assess possible coaching situations to decide whether coaching is worth your time and effort
  • Prepare for and conduct a solutions-based coaching session
  • Engage team members within their own coaching sessions to commit and contribute to performance improvement plans
  • Use coaching as a method of maintaining employee growth
  • Use techniques to promote resilience during changing circumstances
  • Use team engagement to cultivate change and innovation within teams

  • Putting purpose to work for your team
Day Two
  • Building team harmony
  • Building and rebuilding team trust
  • Increasing rapport within teams
  • Demonstrating appreciation within teams
  • Constructive feedback and active listening for mutual understanding
  • A strengths-based coaching model
  • Coaching with confidence
  • The role of leader expectations on team member performance levels
Day Three
  • How to achieve resilience
  • Personal and team resilience-building techniques
  • The stages of team reactions to change
  • Bouncing back from change
  • Discussing change with team members
  • The benefits of conflict
  • The five reactions to conflict and when to use each style
  • How to find common ground within conflict
  • How and when to identify win-win outcomes


Up to 30 students


  • Virtual Classes will be a live, Instructor lead class in Zoom for Government, a virtual technical assistant VTA will be available to assist students with any technical issues, take roll, administer evaluations, and distribute certificates of completion. Course materials will be provided electronically.
  • Onsite classes will be held at your location. The instructor will travel to you. Materials will be printed and shipped to your site. A sign-up sheet will be provided for student to enter their name (as they want it on their certificate) and the email address to send the certificate to. GSA travel costs will be added to the course fee. Contact us for a travel estimate.
  • A minimum of 2 weeks lead time is needed for virtual classes, 3 weeks for onsite classes.
