Cultural Intelligence: Working within or Managing a Multi-Cultural Team
Cultural Intelligence: Working within or Managing a Multi-Cultural Team
Any successful organizational culture involves high-performing teams which recognize the simple fact that people want to belong. They want to feel valued and respected for who they are and be part of a team that enables them to learn and grow. Cultural intelligence provides a pragmatic strategy and skill set for how to relate and work across cultural differences at home and abroad, whether in person or online. The culturally intelligent person who understands global and domestic diversity can work more effectively with peers, coworkers, and customers with different international backgrounds and from different generations, ethnicities, functions, organizations, regions, and more.

- Draw upon research findings to make robust, culturally sensitive plans for team interactions
- Engage with others in a culturally respectful way, including being able to think on their feet in difficult situations
