Mastering the Employee Performance Review Process

Description

Performance Reviews or Appraisals offer potentially powerful conversations between managers and their team members. However, people often look at performance reviews with dread, as opportunities to tell people what they really think of them, as an annoying requirement from the HR Department, or to cut and paste old review comments to create new ones. With great planning, execution, and follow-up, performance reviews can make a difference.

How people perform is critical to organizational success. People are a business’ most important resource. Therefore, managers must pay attention to their people, how well people perform their jobs, and what managers can do to help their team members succeed. This workshop addresses necessary performance review tools and ideas to help managers take advantage of their team members’ talents, rather than taking them for granted.

  • Identify and then reinforce factors leading to successful employee performance

  • Help team members to develop new skills and competencies
